Ella Solin, MSc. RCC, R.Psych., CHT

Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), BC
Registered Psychologist (R.Psych.), Alberta
Certified Hakomi Therapist (CHT)

In my practice I honour the interconnectedness of mind-body-spirit. I am influenced by Eastern contemplative practices of meditation and yoga and draw on developmental psychology, psychodynamic and attachment theory with new research in neuropsychology. With my gentle, experiential and mindfulness-based approach, I assist my clients to heal past wounds, which are still having an impact on present day behaviours and choices. In turn, my clients learn to identify, feel and express their emotions, discovering a deeper sense of self and satisfaction.

I have worked with adults and adolescents, individually and in groups, dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, transitions, trauma, self-harm, eating disorders, body-image and lifestyle management (excerise and health behaviour inititation and adherence).
